SMASH invites international participants with a strong interest in deepening the position of the body in their artistic practice, as well as artists from different fields who already follow a personal line of work and wish to further define and explore their approach beyond genres. The application is open to people from different backgrounds (not only contemporary dance).
Applicants need to share an attitude of self-organization, openness to collaborative processes and to a physically demanding period of work.
The program is limited to 17 participants. All the activities are held in English.

Scholarships:
Two scholarships will be granted to applicants who through their submitted material communicate a clear motivation to join SMASH as well as a strong approach to physicality. The granted scholars will be entitled to a reduced fee of 500 Euro for the entire program.
The announcement of the scholarships will be communicated together with the selection by
May 1, 2013.
