SMASH #4 three-month program
theory sessions
The theory sessions will be organized in collaboration with choreographer, philosopher and video artist Diego Agulló.
The idea of each session will be to create gatherings, testing new propositions of formats/ contexts/ dynamics/ tools in order to challenge the classic academic notion of a seminar or lecture.
We will apply diverse experiments involving playfulness, participation and interaction in order to present ‘theory’ as a collective practice based on everyone´s experiences. The goal is not to resolve the emerging problems but rather to plunge oneself into the complexity of a situation where multiple positions will come into play producing collisions, interferences, critical junctures and loss of orientation.
