SMASH #4 three-month program
full presence ahead
Nicole Berndt-Caccivio

This class is not about "doing" something, but rather about the principle of "letting" it happen! Through a mindful approach we will link biodynamic craniosacral bodywork to contemporary dance. Through guided bodywork with partners and an experiencial knowledge of anatomical structures, such as the connection between head & tail (lat. coccyx - occipital, the connection between tailbone and atlas) and the flow of the LCS (the cerebrospinal fluid, the fluid around and inside the brain and the spinal cord) we are going to move into dance improvisations.

As the energy is following our awarness, we will tune into the quality of cranio-sacral touch, letting this lead us smoothly into body- and mind-improvisations out of the different tides.

all is happening in the same moment: stillness and movement!

No previous knowledge of craniosacral bodywork required.
Please bring comfortable clothes, paper and pencils.
