SMASH#7 Morning Training
experiential anatomy
Alessio Castellacci
This class approaches the moving body through elements of
experiential anatomy - mapping our unique anatomy through sensorial observation and kinesthetic practice.
Each day we´ll focus on the structural and functional aspects of a specific section from the skeletal and muscular networks (pelvis, spine, ribcage, feet, psoas/diaphragm), working alone and in couples, from stillness to movement and back, looking for that quiet space for reflection where poetic images interchange fluidly with an understanding of body mechanics. We will be travellers of our own bodylandscape.
